Bay Area Video Coalition (BAVC)

Juanita, a high school junior, participated in an internship with BAVC and Just Think, and decided to produce a Hidden Heroes project on her neighborhood, the Mission. Because of its rich Latino heritage, the Mission is one of the most culturally important communities in the San Francisco Bay Area. By choosing two local heroes who are doing great work in the Mission, Juanita was able to connect her heroes with her larger community.
